Born in she lived in this all her life was a graduate of the High School of Tracy Lee Reed She enlisted with the Army and served with the Army Reserve and was deployed to Saudi Arabia in Operation Desert Storm with the 173rd Medical Group based at Westover Air Force Base "in Chicopee. She was assigned the processing of allied casualties and witnessed SCUD missile attacks. 'She saw the aftermath of the explosion that killed 28 and wounded 100 American GIs. Previously, she served with the Transportation Battalion and Edward J.

Bloniarz SAVOY Edward J. Bloniarz, 69, of Savoy, a retired regional sales manager for Hein-Werner Equipment died Wednesday 'at home. He had been the operations manager for Hedge Construction Equipment of Westfield, and Warner Swasey Co. in West Springfield. He retired in 1990 from Hatfield Farm Industrial Equipment Co.

Born in Adams, he was a resident 'of Westfield and Southampton before moving here. He was a communicant of Notre Dame Church in Adams, and a longtime Knight Columbus. He leaves his wife, the former Cecelia J. Gancara; a son, Edward J. Kania-Bloniarz of Easthampton; three daughters, (Theresa J.

Lamb and Emilia Bousquet of Westfield, and Helena E. Peitler of Ridgefield, a sister, Helena Modzelewski of "Pittsfield and six grandchildren. John S. Chivas 0 RUSSELL John S. Chivas, 37, of Mount Laurel Drive, a 13- year truck driver for Tilcon-Roncari Industries in East Granby, died Saturday in Noble. Hospital in Westfield. Born in Holyoke, he attended Holyoke schools and was a 1976 graduate of Holyoke High School and received a law enforcement degree from Holyoke Community College.

He lived in Russell for the past 13 years. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 559. He leaves his wife, the former Mary Lou Starkel; four sisters, Lillian Meade of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Eleanor Maloney of Westfield, Kathleen Moylan of Springfield and Marlene Wresien of Holyoke; and two nephews. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, and also belonged to American Legion Post 0239, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8428, and the Isaac Walton League of America, Quabbin Center. He was a communicant of St.

Francis Church and was a charter member of its Knights of Columbus. He leaves his wife, the former Diane Bousquet, and many nieces and nephews.
