Mrs. F. Quinn Taught School Many Years Man's Body Found On Railroad Tracks ENFIELD The identity of a white male, whose body was found Thursday morning on, the middle of Depot Hill trestle over the Connecticut River, was still unknown Thursday night, according to Penn Central Railroad and local police. Penn Central Patrolman Kurt Kemmesies said the body was reported seen at 5.29 a.m. at mile post 50 on the Springfield main line track by the crew of Train No.

61. Railroad Patrolman James Sheehan, at 6.15 a.m., reported the victim was on a rail of the southbound track. A check of engines which arrived at Cedar Hill, New Haven, showed no evidence of being involved in the fatality. Dr. Howard W.

Gourlie, medical examiner at the scene, said death was apparently caused by head injuries. The victim's right leg was severed below the knee. The body was taken to Leete funeral home and then McCook Hospital, Hartford, for an autopsy. Enfield Police Lt. Frank Rzasa said a Bandaid near the inside of the man's right elbow could indicate he may have donated blood earlier in the day, or had had a blood test.
