He was born in Hibernia and lived here 65 years.

Egon J. Lachner MADISON Egon J. Lachner, 71, 12 Hoyte died at home yesterday. Born in Vienna, Austria, he lived in Bronxville, N.Y. before moving here 16 years ago.

He was a graduate of Cornell Univerity, and attended the Art Students League and Pan American Art School. He was a member and past president of the Morris County Old Guard, the Madison Historical Society and an officer in the Shlaraffia Society. He is survived by his wife Kathryn. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Burroughs and Kohr Funeral Home, 106 Main St.
